When requesting a quote, be sure to include the following details whenever possible:
- INCO terms
- Mode of transport
- Origin and destination
- Piece count including weight and dimensions
- Cargo availability date
- Any special requirements that are needed for the shipment

- Customs Brokerage- Do you have a broker?
- Mariner International provides customs brokerage services to facilitate shipment clearance. A signed Power of Attorney is required to proceed.
- Bond – Does your company already have a bond established with customs?
- Mariner International can assist in setting up a single-entry bond or continuous bond, depending on the company’s import volume
- Automatic Clearing House (ACH)
- If your company is not already set up on ACH with customs, Mariner can assist.
For Exports, the following will be needed:
- Shippers Letter of Instruction (SLI) is required for any shipment over $2500.00 in value
